Admissions Instagram Q&A
From the Nominator
To reach prospective students where they are, Bucknell launched an Instagram Q&A with our dean of Admissions. The goals were to connect with this audience in a unique way, allow them direct access to ask their burning admissions questions in a channel that is comfortable to them and, ultimately, grow the university's Instagram channel. The planned 48-hour Q&A was so successful that it was extended for two additional days, and generated a 720% increase in channel impressions from the previous time frame. Not only were we able to show Bucknell's personality and provide a genuinely helpful experience for prospective students, we were left with a wealth of data directly from this key audience on the types of questions they have about applying to Bucknell.
