Boost the 'Cuse: 44 Hours for Syracuse University

For the first time at Syracuse University, Giving Day extended past the standard 24 hours: Boost the ’Cuse 2019 was 44 hours long! 44 is a special number for Syracuse, and pays respect to many great athletes, representing the Orange Pride that unites us. This effort had goals of 5,000 donors, continuing the momentum of the first two giving days, and celebrating philanthropic giving at Syracuse University as we launched our capital campaign, Forever Orange, which kicked off just after this event. This year’s results blew past the first two years, raising more than $1.96 million from 8,052 donors.

Great campaign. It was an expensive campaign, but delivered on all accounts. They have a campaign for every college and talked about the impact on every school. They were very thoughtful about the engagement for their international constituents, and it was one of the few campaigns that thought about the world reach. We loved the influencer boxes for social media influencers, and the scavenger hunt. Great ideas and fun for all!
