"The Journey" trailer promotes a series that gives a behind-the-scenes look into UTA’s basketball program. The trailer captures UTA’s new head coach addressing the team, eloquently summing up the goal of the program and, subsequently, the goal of the series. With a rocky start to the new era of UTA basketball, viewers get a preview of what’s to come in the series and the season, and a convincing reason to tune into both.

We really loved this video. Music is hard to get right, and is key to effective videos; their music choice here is perfect in setting the stage for the content. UTA abandoned a traditional "talking head," yet was still able to convey a lot of meaning through strong voiceovers and video content. Although it may have been scripted (because the content is so good), it feels authentic and in-the-moment. This trailer does exactly what it set out to do—build interest in following this team through its season.
