This is What Happens When You Give is a publication created by Drexel University’s Office of Institutional Advancement to thank top-level donors and leadership volunteers at the midpoint of the public phase of “The Campaign for Drexel.” This project is a meaningful publication with high production value. It showcases 12 curated stories from across campus that demonstrate the impact of philanthropy to Drexel. The unusual fold-out format engages its audience in a reading experience that heightens interaction with the physical book and its content. Each story is revealed upon lifting a title page and unfolding an oversized leaf. In addition, the publication uses a careful selection of paper stock that varies in opacity, color, and texture to enhance the reading experience.
