This series of three admissions posters is designed to communicate Kenyon’s distinctions to prospective students in a way that’s smart, idea-driven and visually engaging. Each poster speaks to a brand pillar, and uses illustration and wordplay to speak to a larger theme: Our words and ideas connect us. With this introduction, we aim to help prospective students see themselves at Kenyon by showing them what Kenyon students value and how they think.

Kenyon College submitted a strong entry that was refreshingly unexpected, distinctly different, and very well-crafted for the intended audience of prospective students. The restraint to not overdesign the recruitment posters was commendable. We appreciated the excellent typographic treatments and the minimal illustration style. The flat, tight color palette was elegant and fresh.
