Boost the 'Cuse Giving Day 2020

On October 1, 2020, the Division of Marketing, in partnership with the Office of Philanthropic Engagement, Advancement Technical Systems, and Support, hosted Syracuse University's giving day, Boost the' Cuse. Building off the momentum generated by the university's multi-year Forever Orange fundraising campaign, and keeping the focus on student support in the era of Covid-19, the multifaceted digital-first approach increased donor acquisition and exceeded the fundraising goal.
In total, Boost the 'Cuse 2020 yielded 5,035 unique donors and raised $1,853,544.86. We surpassed our day-of donor goal (2,024 donors) by 242%. Unique donors and revenue have grown steadily since the first giving day in 2017, with a +6.8% in unique donors and a +9.8% in revenue.
