Meet Harry, a Knox Grammar School boarder from Dunedoo in rural NSW. Through beautiful cinematography and a strong personal narrative, this video shares the story of Harry's journey from his farm to starting school at Knox.
With the goal of increasing rural boarding enrolments for Knox Grammar School, this video was specifically created for an audience of rural parents and their networks. It aims to provide reassurance for these families, and answer questions they may have about boarding school, such as homesickness and personal care.
This longer version of the video, which was launched via social media, was accompanied by a 30-second TV advertisement which was broadcast on rural television in August 2020.

We were very impressed with the production quality of this video, especially considering the budget. We loved following Harry, and felt that seeing “a day in the life” for just one student really helped drill home how much Knox can feel like home. If the goal was to reassure rural families that a boarding school would be safe and comfortable for a “country boy”... it was accomplished! This left us feeling warm.
