Harvard Medicine News is the flagship newsletter of Harvard Medical School, received weekly by a subscriber base of about 70,000. Its audience is both intensely local, serving the HMS community and its affiliates, and also global, reaching readers around the world interested in the institution. Its audience is broad: from a scientifically curious lay audience, to potential students, thought leaders and scientists. These two issues reflect the kind of work we've been doing this year, as we worked to serve a public that has been hungry for news about the pandemic and its impact on the school, new COVID research, and general science.
