Tulane Social Media
From the Nominator
Tulane created @onlyattulane in 2012 when Instagram was still in its infancy. 2020 was a banner year that saw the birth of their TikTok account, and a more coordinated strategy between social media platforms and email marketing. Students often comment that “TulaneTok” is “elite,” “the best in the game,” and “always on top of trends.” Tulane does everything in-house, using members of their Media and Communications teams in concert.

From the Judges
Used a new social media platform where their students are spending their time, and did it well. Definitely focused on student recruitment using an admissions counselor as the voice of the channel. Excellent work!
