Aiglon Junior School Prospectus
From the Nominator
"Following our successful senior school prospectus, we set out to create a new prospectus focused on our junior school. We wanted the two brochures to sit well together and yet offer a distinct message for our younger students. The result is a beautiful, 36-page prospectus printed in a square format offering families a thorough walk through our junior programme. The book is defined by big, bold images emphasising an exciting student experience across both our distinct mountain seasons.
While we wanted potential students to see themselves in this prospectus, we know it’s really the parents we need to convince for our junior boarding programmes. This means the prospectus doesn’t shy away from detailed descriptions and robust narrative that offers parents real content to process. The middle section “At Home” provides dynamic images and shorter text to break up the design and be more practical: what does life in one of our junior houses really look like? We had to deliver on several key messages: (1) the junior school is an important foundation for senior school, and (2) the junior school offers a distinct lifestyle and yet it is still part of the wider school.
Families responded well. Further impact is below, but in our new parent survey, 70% of families rated the application materials provided as excellent. This was up from 60% in the previous year, in which the Junior Prospectus was the major new initiative."
From the Judges
We found ourselves reading every word of the Aiglon prospectus (and wishing we could enroll as students). The quotes and engaging copy, paired with stunning images, were integrated in a way that did a great job of portraying the fun and adventurous time students were having. We particularly found the use of illustrations a fun touch for younger students.
