After a year of social distancing measures, the college planned to increase the availability of extended in-person academic, recreational, and athletic activities for the fall 2021 semester. The public relations department was tasked with developing an advertising campaign to promote this endeavor and generate excitement about the upcoming year, using the slogan "Best Year Ever." The department collaborated with an external video production company to create a unique, eye-catching commercial that highlights SUNY Canton's vibrant campus life. The audience for this campaign included both parents and students. The platforms selected to distribute the commercial reflected the diverse demographics, so traditional television and social platforms were utilized.
