"Donors from 42 states made 2,130 online gifts, totaling $491,846, during Boise State University’s fourth-annual Bronco Giving Day on March 3-4. Joining the campaign, Boise State students showed support by making more than 250 gifts, while faculty and staff made 850 gifts to one or more of the 40 areas of need highlighted during the 36-hour drive.
More than 150 digital social media ambassadors helped share the Bronco Giving Day message to engage support from donors as far away as Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, with the furthest gift coming from New South Wales, Australia. Since its inception, donor support for Bronco Giving Day has totaled more than $1.6 million."

Boise State's organization and planning have created an atmosphere of excitement around philanthropy. Utilizing university-wide partners has paved the way for cross-team cooperation and ownership of the event. And it shows! The participation from faculty, staff, and students is impressive and the overall fundraising results are proof that the team leading the event has created a successful giving day.
