"With a lean team and a limited budget, the Louisiana Tech team sought the most efficient way to build brand loyalty with thousands more alumni through one-on-one outreach. Through the use of EverTrue, Louisiana Tech saw that 3% of alumni change jobs every year (700-800, quarterly). Of these job-changers, about 15% showed additional wealth indicators; 40% were young alums; 1% were retiring; and 8% had been promoted to a C-suite position.
The Louisiana Tech team decided to act on this untapped potential. Now they receive automatic, human-verified alumni job change notifications every 90 days through EverTrue. A dedicated staff member acts on these important career moves milestones by sending personalized, congratulatory ThankView videos. Through this new process, all job-changing alums who are in gift officer portfolios now receive a personalized “Congratulations!” email or video message from their prospect manager. High-capacity, unassigned alums receive a 1:1 personalized video from LA Tech’s director of alumni engagement. All other alums receive a general “Congrats!” video from the director of alumni engagement.

Outstanding! Completely replicable. Data of engagement and results were provided, which are amazing. Love the tie-in to the current prospect portfolios and that there is plan for those alumni who are unassigned. This is an excellent program and, as Brooks Hull shares in his video message, it allows the institution to engage earlier with the alumni than when they end up in the C-Suite.
