"This publication, titled “Here’s to Strong Women Who Get Things Done,” is sent to prospective students in February at a key point in their decision-making process: they have been admitted to Meredith, but have not yet made a decision to attend. 

Featuring young, successful graduates of the College, this unique piece is designed to show students examples of what a Meredith education can do, thereby building value and encouraging them to select Meredith as their college of choice. Previously designed as a more traditional multi-page saddle stitch booklet, this new iteration was designed to appeal to a generation of students who are accustomed to consuming information in bite-sized pieces. With a vibrant pocket folder and a series of student profiles that are presented on individual “cards,” the tactile nature of this publication invites students to thumb through the various stories. 

This piece met its goal of encouraging students to choose Meredith, with a 4.8% increase in conversions when compared to the same period the previous year."

From the Judges

This piece had a strong, eye-catching graphic design that made the information accessible. We particularly liked how this bright and colorful offering created a counterpoint to the traditional booklet. Clearly, this team understands their audience.
