"The Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) is committed to supporting its alumni across the globe through various learning, networking, career, and branding initiatives. With the objective of engaging more alumnae and supporting them in their personal and professional journeys, OAE launched the ISB Women initiative. This is in line with the School’s broader goal to advance the cause of women and create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive ecosystem.​

ISB Women brings together a network of ISB alumnae: women in C-Suite positions, functional heads, government representatives, recent graduates striving for career growth, and those who took a sabbatical looking to come back to the mainstream career. Curated sessions and workshops specially designed based on feedback from the alumnae underline the OAE efforts.​ Furthermore, this initiative has provided alumnae a forum for having authentic and honest conversations. The ISB Women group on LinkedIn serves as a platform for community building and inspiring alumnae to learn from each other and to support one another. 

Today the ISB Women community stands together, stronger and more cohesive, and roaring to empower each member globally. Though the initiative was aimed at increasing alumnae engagement, it also provided significant benefit to the School--inspiring alumnae to volunteer for different school activities. This also contributed to the gender diversity in the classroom, making ISB‘s 39% women in the flagship MBA program comparable to the best in the world.​"

This program excited us for many reasons: its ability to empower women, connect with international audiences, and use alumni surveys for strategic decision making was stellar. What a great community builder!
