Protect Our Herd: Our Shot to Vaccinate UA

"The best way for The University of Alabama to fulfill its mission and ensure students get the full college experience was to protect public health by encouraging as many students and employees as possible to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Research indicated that a campaign aimed at convincing people to roll up their sleeves needed to be relatable, personal, familiar, localized, and utilize peer representatives and leaders.
Using only in-house resources, the team developed assets for the university’s social media platforms, newsletters, campus digital signage, websites, and UA Info Radio. To amplify the campaign message and reach, collateral and raw materials (photos, wordmark, etc.) were shared with influencers and communicators across campus, such as Greek life organizations, Student Government Association, and Campus Communicators Network. The campaign met and exceeded all goals and objectives."

This campaign demonstrated strong leadership messaging through newsletters, social media platforms, signage, and more. We appreciated the thorough strategy resulting in solid outcomes, increasing vax rates by 50%.
