"Seize The Day is a parody video of a song from the movie and Broadway show, Newsies. While still in the pandemic, we needed to find a way to do a video that had a slightly different tone and give our constituents a peek inside the school--something that parents and other external visitors have not been able to see for the past two years. This video was used to build hype around and create awareness for our annual Day of Giving.
Looking for a fun way to get our message across, we came up with the idea to create this video and involve students, faculty, and staff in the process. The result is a video that beautifully captured a day at Newark Academy and made our Day of Giving once again a great success. After three years, our goals of making the Day of Giving something that students remember, understand, and want to be a part of has been accomplished and continues to serve us well."
