"In March 2022, the Georgia Tech Alumni Association developed and delivered The Career Clarity Virtual Events Series comprised of five webinars focused on career change and development. The pandemic spurred a need to work differently. The alumni association’s career development team witnessed a significant increase in alumni interested in new jobs and completely different professions for some.
The free virtual series helped them determine if they should leave a job, consider additional education or training, explore their hidden talents, and design a plan of action to change careers or advance with their current company. For alumni, it provided a scalable option to address the needs of a significant number of individuals seeking guidance. The series did not require any outlay of expenditures beyond regular operating expenses and fit within the parameters of the staff’s job duties.

• How to Design a Career You Love
• Finding Your Career Sweet Spot
Presented by subject matter experts and alumni, each session was recorded, links provided to all registrants, and it is currently available for viewing on GT Connect—the alumni association’s networking platform—for all alumni."

Innovative program responsive to the needs of constituents providing a service of great value at no cost to alums. Easily scalable for other institutions. Good combination of experts and alumni and longevity of programming exists through hosting recordings on their networking platform.
