From the Nominator

"Evermore shares the stories of Texas Tech’s best and brightest, from the pioneers with a bold vision who laid the foundation 100 years ago to those who now propel our national research institution into the future. It honors the alumni who have faithfully supported the university throughout its growth, as well as the faculty and researchers conducting world-altering work and the students who will carry on the legacy. We endeavor to reinforce that quintessential Texas Tech ideal: From Here, It’s Possible. 

Issue 2 focused on a wide variety of stories that would be of interest to our readers, from the inspirational dreams of one student and the steps he’s taking to fulfill them, to the humorously tall tales of a group of larger-than-life alumni, to the emotional family history of an architecture professor whose blind sister changed his trajectory forever. 

Issue 3, on the other hand, took a far more focused approach with only two main features, a profile of a student-athlete who went on to become an Olympic gold medalist and a long, in-depth commemoration of Texas Tech’s ties to the final Columbia space shuttle mission in connection to its 20th anniversary. After launching our first issue in 2021, the results speak for themselves. We've seen an incredible uptick in alumni engagement, especially alumni whose connections to Texas Tech were tenuous at best while maintaining the connections that were already strong. Our alumni have embraced Evermore, voiced their enjoyment of it, and subscribed by the hundreds for future issues."

Evermore showcases an exceptional work of art and design with cool covers that are both exquisite and cleverly laid out. The sideways story layout is a unique and creative way to present feature writing and captures the reader's attention from the start. The engaging feature articles are complemented by vibrant photography and illustration, resulting in a visually stunning and immersive experience.
