The design of Experience magazine is central to our mission of bringing the highest editorial standards as we illuminate the work of Northeastern University faculty, alumni, students, and staff. We aim to draw readers in with covers that evoke a visceral experience; surprise and delight them with commissioned illustrations; and transport them around the world with vivid photography.

This nomination is absolutely stunning. The "groove" cover is particularly striking and there are lovely compositions and color decisions throughout the publication. It was truly a joy to go through this publication, and judges were impressed by the beautiful design details and smart choices made with headers, kickers, pull quotes, and white space. Overall, this is a beautifully designed publication that clearly demonstrates a great deal of thought and care in every aspect of its production.
