The Fisher Center Branding
From the Nominator
In the fall of 2021, Belmont University dedicated The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, a new $180 million multi-functional facility designed with a vision to be the best performance venue on any college campus in the world. Fashioned after traditional European opera houses, the new hall adds another diamond to Music City’s ring of world-class venues as it caters to diverse audiences with major concerts, plays, operas, dance, musical theatre and other performances while also supplying Belmont’s nationally renowned arts students with a unique learning and performing environment. The caliper of venue needed a brand of equal caliper and thus the ribbon cutting in the fall of 2021 launched a brand venture which was executed in early 2022. The Fisher Center and Belmont University team have big aspirations for the venue, and the brand provides guidelines for consistent branding across all channels.
From the Judges
While marketing a beautiful venue is not the worst marketing problem, the creative is really spot on. The overall branding brings in elements of the architecture and interiors while also nodding at its musical foundation.
