"This entry consists of two episodes of LMU Magazine's podcast, titled "Off Press"—episode 44, "Rebecca Delfino on the Opioid Crisis" with Rebecca Delfino, Clinical Professor of Law at LMU Loyola Law School, and episode 42, "Eric Strauss on Climate Change," with Eric Strauss, President's Professor of Biology and Director of the Center for Urban Resilience at LMU.
"Off Press" is the occasional podcast of LMU Magazine. The podcast consists of one-on-one interviews, usually with guests who are LMU faculty, staff, or alumni. "Off Press" almost always focuses on broad areas of social interest in order to appeal to both the LMU community and the general public. Interviews are produced to meet marketplace standards for informational quality and production values. The goal of "Off Press" is to contribute to a better understanding of important social and community issues and to highlight LMU faculty and alumni as thought leaders in the marketplace of ideas. "Off Press" has twice been honored in journalism competitions hosted by the Los Angeles Press Club, including a first-place award."
