"Getting accepted to Suffolk University is a big deal. Our admitted students’ lives are about to move forward by leaps and bounds. The Office of Marketing and Communication was tasked with creating a hype video to get Suffolk’s admitted students excited about all that awaits them at our campus in downtown Boston. This video—Make Things Happen—premiered at our 2022 Admitted Student Showcase.
The pillars of Suffolk’s brand come to life in this piece. Academics, global engagement, and Boston’s opportunities are all highlighted in just under two minutes. And every word and image is driven by a sense of purpose, the kind of confidence that will propel these future Suffolk Rams into their unique, career-ready futures. When our students are immersed in academics, internships, city life, and the world around them, that’s when they make things happen.
While our students are the stars of this video, Boston itself plays a key supporting role. Whatever Rams do, their experiences are enhanced just by living in our incredible and incredibly diverse hometown.
Suffolk students become who they’re meant to be—and they make things happen in their academics and their careers. This video fulfilled its mission at our showcase event and through Suffolk’s social channels."

Snappy, sharp and visually vibrant, Suffolk University’s in-house marketing team has delivered an incredibly strong, student-driven entry. The video makes great use of a broad spectrum of real Suffolk students and locations that act as a compelling showcase for the university’s Boston location, which allow the audience of prospective students to imagine themselves at Suffolk. Authentic enthusiasm from the audience as well as the students and professionals involved in the production helps this video stand out.
