Person on the Street: "This or That Holiday Edition"

"Using an iPhone, a stabilizer, and a stuffed Boston Terrier with a wireless microphone, two of our interns ventured onto Boston University’s campus to film a “person on the street” video. This involved asking students their preferences on holiday-related topics (e.g., sledding vs. skating, or hot chocolate vs. eggnog). The video was then cut-and-pieced together using in-app TikTok and Instagram features and posted to each platform. The video featured some funny student reactions. Our student intern, who acted as a host, created a fun and inviting environment for each student they engaged with.
Once posted to both TikTok and Instagram, our followers quickly chimed in with their preferences in the comments section. When all was said and done, the video earned 207,618 views, 2,890 engagements, 88 shares, 28 comments, and a reach (the number of unique users—followers or non-followers—who saw the page post) of 175,688."

Nice and fun video that looked into trends and interests of current students in order to engage them. Great to see that it was created by a student intern and good demonstration of what you can do on a limited budget.
