"The Real-World Partnerships brochure is a 13-page glossy print publication designed to showcase opportunities for corporates and externals to engage with QUT. The brochure illustrates different avenues external partners can engage with QUT, including philanthropy. This is important because one university department may be approached by a prospective partner for a specific request without any awareness of other available service offerings from different university areas, resulting in missed opportunities. This also provided our staff with a physical "leave behind" document when attending meetings.
The opportunities profiled in the brochure include:
1) Research expertise
2) Professional development and executive education
3) Talent acquisition
4) Corporate philanthropy
To develop this publication, we had to:
• engage with different stakeholders across the university
• draft copy for each area and circulate for approval
• identify potential photos/artwork to be included
• brief-in the request to our graphic design department, including look/feel and target audience
• provide feedback on design concepts
• proof-read the final design
• manage approvals
• approve print
• pay invoices
Once the printed copies arrived, we organized distribution across the university to stakeholders. As a result of this initiative, we have distributed over 250 copies to valued QUT partners and potential partners to promote the variety of ways in which they can engage with the university."

Strong photography and textures work well together in this promotional publication. Cool blues with pops of color effectively showcase the content without being overwhelming.
