This employee recognition program proudly recognizes the dedication, hard work, and kindness of our faculty and staff at SUNY Broome. The SUNY Broome Foundation staff developed the program to build morale and engage our faculty and staff members in a new way. Through peer nominations, employees are recognized for making the college a better place for fellow employees, students, and community friends. Each nominee is presented in person with a VIP package consisting of a VIP mug, specially branded coffee, and a vintage SUNY Broome banner. We also include a personalized card with a note from the person who entered the nomination indicating why they believe that individual deserves recognition.
From the Judges
As employees of higher education institutions, we were particularly pleased to see this entry recognizing employees. It has been a hard couple of years, and most institutions have faced staffing challenges. This was a great way to recognize internal stakeholders at a time when we felt was critical.
