Transformed Tour

"Cedarville University’s Transformed Tour was a 25-day, 15-city tour around the country for the purpose of ministering and serving our constituents, giving prospective students a glimpse into Cedarville University without traveling to campus and building national awareness for the university and the 1000 Days Transformed Campaign for Cedarville. Each tour event was a combination of a concert, conference, and college fair. It capitalized on the momentum of the 1000 Days Transformed Campaign launch in October 2022 and drove it 10,000 miles from coast to coast.
We communicated to alumni and donors that the university was growing and transforming while still holding firm to its mission and values. Prospective families experienced and heard firsthand from current university students what it is like to attend Cedarville University. Alumni, donors, and prospective families met Dr. Thomas White, president of Cedarville University, in addition to trustees and other significant faculty and staff members. It truly was Cedarville University live, in-person. Guests left feeling encouraged and excited about the future of the university."
From the Judges
The panel felt this was a fun take on an admissions swing, with the branded bus driving between cities. The tour resulted in more awareness of the institution among prospective students and their families, many of which were previously unaware of the institution. This strategy could be adopted or adapted for other institutions looking to boost awareness among prospective students.
