Berklee Alumni: Pass the Mic
From the Nominator
Berklee Alumni's Pass the Mic podcast is an effort to elevate alumni engagement, services, support, and opportunity by providing a forum for alumni to exchange their views on careers, the music industry, and what it means to be in the Berklee community. Alumni at Berklee have unique stories and backgrounds. Providing a roundtable discussion where alumni can be authentic about their experiences and find commonality with one another highlights how well community members connect with each other when given the chance. The podcast features interviews with alumni from the Boston campus and from Berklee's many learning environments, including the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee Online, Berklee NYC, and Berklee Valencia. Friends of Berklee, such as trustees and guest artists, also join the conversation. These viewpoints provide our audience with continuing education that they can apply to their personal lives, businesses, and careers. Fostering relationships with our alumni and connecting through conversations have been the centerpiece of alumni programming long before the creation of the digital realm. Now with this podcast, we are able to model these principles for a wider audience.
