Bowdoin Magazine is the flagship publication of the college, and it carries the banner for both alumni and the institution as a whole. It seeks to connect alumni to the college that they knew in their day (however long or short ago) and to the college of today. The design and the editorial work together, with the design more the workhorse in this regard, doing what we consider job number one: prompting our readers to open the magazine and then turn page after page, wondering what's next. We regularly get great feedback. But even more important to us is that we have so many alumni, young graduates very prevalent among them, request the print version of the magazine.

Wow, this magazine is truly impressive. The seamless flow and branding are on point, making it really stand out. It's exceptionally well done. We especially appreciate the thoughtful balance between content and white space, as well as the excellent choices of photos, illustrations, and typography throughout. The layout elevates the publication, giving it a high-end and effortless feel. Overall, they've done a fantastic job!
