How do you summarize everything a small university in Miami does for its students? How it opens access to underserved populations and makes the impossible achievable? How do you tell the story of countless students who can detail the impacts of getting their first big break at Barry? How do you authentically break the mold for college advertising? You develop a breakthrough campaign. Literally. Students don’t just get a degree from Barry University--they get the knowledge, confidence, and skills that allow them to excel, to turn the tide in their favor, and to make the most of the life they want to live. Grounded in our core commitments of truth, social justice, inclusivity, and community service, Barry charts a clear course for moving forward, fulfilling personal growth, and pursuing valuable career paths. The Break through @ Barry University campaign creates a brand tone of “yes you can." "Break through" (two words) is a call to action--to experience achievements big and small, as well as the promise that our faculty/staff will help students get there. "Breakthrough" (one word) is the result, the accomplishment, and the success story we tell. From the moment it was launched, this campaign has energized our students, faculty, and staff, while achieving much-needed buzz in in the community.
