The marketing and communications social media intern team asked Illinois State students to share what their favorite food on campus is. With current and prospective student audiences in mind, our interns filmed this video around campus at popular spots for students to hang out. This goofy, unserious video serves as a crowd-sourced recommendation list for viewers on popular spots to enjoy a good bite to eat. The Instagram Reel gained a ton of traction, with followers commenting about their favorites place to eat or to debate the merits of certain answers. With over 37,619 accounts reached and 2,562 interactions, this Reel was a hit with our Instagram followers and campus community.

This video project was a joy to watch! It was interesting and lively, with a fun and quirky style that kept us engaged from start to finish. The choice of food as the main topic was brilliant, sparking great conversations in the comments. The variety included in the on-the-street interviews was impressive, and made excellent use of time and budget.
