In 2023, Jere W. Morehead celebrated his 10th year as president of the University of Georgia. UGA’s 2023 Annual Report looks back over this decade of academic, athletic, scientific, and financial accomplishments within the UGA community. By using comprehensive storytelling, engaging photography, and elegant design, numbers and spreadsheets are transformed into a bold visual experience. Under the theme "Committed to Excellence," the 2023 Annual Report highlights key successes through testimonials from students, faculty, and alumni. It also brings attention to specific areas of commitment important to the university. The 2023 Annual Report is published as both a physical and digital version, with 20,000 print copies mailed. This year, the physical magazine-style booklet contains a fold-out map and timeline that details major projects across campus. Report sections start with large, human-centered photography. Colors guide reader’s focus to content and ensure a strong brand presence. The report includes a remittance envelope encouraging readers to make a donation to the University of Georgia to support our students. The digital version is on our website, shared through social media, and included in an annual email campaign. It is a major source of information for donors and other stakeholders and results in contributions from various donors every year.
