CANCELLED: CASE District II Annual Conference: Reimagined
The 2022 CASE District II Conference is Cancelled
As we move in to 2022, CASE is eager to provide an in-person learning environment where peers can meet to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and advance education to transform lives and society.
We are also reviewing our planned programs on a case-by-case basis, and monitoring global, national, and regional trends and attitudes. In continuing conversations with District leadership, speakers, and conference committee members, it has become clear that there is hesitancy around holding the District II conference in mid-February. Due to these factors, CASE staff and volunteer leadership have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s District II Conference, scheduled for February 13-15, in New York City.
CASE will give registrants a credit toward a future CASE conference or product that can be used by you or anyone at your institution. You’ll see that credit on your CASE account by next week—no action is needed by you to receive that credit. (See CASE's cancellation policy)
Please be sure to cancel flights as soon as possible, as attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements. If you booked your hotel through the CASE room block, your room will be canceled for you (look for a cancellation email next week). If you booked your hotel through an outside vendor, you’ll need to cancel those accommodations yourself.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult situation. We hope to be together soon.
Your Next Steps:
✔ Cancel your flight.
✔ Your credits will be added to your account to use for any CASE program, but could be used for these upcoming District-focused professional development conferences such as:
- CASE All Districts Online Conference (April 7-8)
- CASE District I Conference (in-person in Boston, March 10-11)
Contact Member Support to transfer your credits to one of these conferences.
✔ Look for a hotel cancellation notice, or cancel your own hotel if you made those accommodations yourself.
