Developing a Comprehensive Gift-in-Kind Process
Accepting in-kind donations of property is a normal function of comprehensive Higher-Ed fundraising. Larger institutions with decentralized units face challenges with knowing when property is being donated and helping employees understand their responsibilities on behalf of the institution. This session will explain some of the unique complications which led Kennesaw State University to develop a central process for accepting a wide variety of Gifts-in-Kind.
