Become a Host Institution
The CASE Advancement Internship seeks to broaden the pipeline and enhance diversity among future educational advancement professionals. This internship experience is designed to attract undergraduates, graduate students, and recent grads of diverse lived experiences who have the aptitude and skills to serve the profession but may not have previously considered a career in the educational advancement sector.
Since 2016, more than 750 interns from the US/Canada have had the opportunity to explore a career in advancement while obtaining hands-on advancement experience and professional development.
Hosts Provide
An eight-week summer internship (June 2-July 25, 2025), during which the advancement intern will undertake assignments and projects to develop their core advancement skills and help them develop professionally.
Fees
The fee to participate is $2,200 (US) per intern plus an intern stipend or hourly wage (determined by the institution).
The CASE participation fee covers the associated costs of the internship, including the hotel and meal expenses for the intern’s stay in Washington, D.C., for the three-day CASE Advancement Internship Conference.
Host institutions are responsible for covering the airfare for their intern(s) to attend the Advancement Internship Conference in Washington, D.C.
Hosts have the flexibility of providing their interns with a stipend or hourly wage stipend that is paid to CASE and then distributed to the intern or setting up compensation directly through the institution. Should you elect this option, CASE will distribute payment electronically to the intern during Week 4 and Week 8 of the internship.
Consider giving a student at your institution the summer of a lifetime to explore a career in advancement while doing meaningful work that will impact your institution!
