CASE members transform lives by advancing and supporting education.
Whether you’re the leader of a big advancement team or just starting out in a development role at a small shop, CASE provides information and resources that will build your confidence and help you feel connected to your community college colleagues across the United States, Caribbean, and Canada.
CASE provides training and resources to help community colleges build and sustain effective fundraising, alumni relations, grant and communications and marketing programs. We offer our members a mix of programs and products designed specifically for community colleges as well as resources developed for educational institutions of all types.
Leadership: CASE is very fortunate to have volunteers such as our 12-member Community College Leadership Committee guiding our programming initiatives.

- More than 300 community college advancement professionals attended our Conference for Community College Advancement (CCCA) in Baltimore on October 16-18, 2024.
- CASE hosted a one-day conference for Community College Grant Professionals during the 2024 CCCA in Baltimore.

CASE offers a number of resources to help Community College members:
- CASE Insights: CASE is the world leader in helping advancement professionals in colleges, universities, and schools make data-informed decisions. Institutions of any size, type, or location around the globe will find CASE Insights data, standards, and research are valuable tools to help drive success.
- CASE Library: The Library is a hub for resources about the advancement field. Our staff of professional librarians is highly knowledgeable about CASE products and services, as well as other print and online resources for community college advancement professionals.
- Bookstore: See what’s available in print and digitally. A new, fast-selling book for community college advancement professionals is the 2nd edition of fundraising consultant Jeff Bagel’s book Annual Fundraising Plans Made Simple: A Road Map for Community Colleges and Small Development Shops.
- Quick Studies: 12 CASE volunteers created six 30-minute videos—called Quick Studies—on various topics just for our community colleges advancement members.
Community College Grant Professionals
- Federal Funding Task Force: The CASE Federal Funding Task Force (FFTF) is a network of more than 50 volunteers who meet annually with federal agencies for a week every fall in Washington, DC, on behalf of the higher education grant community. Our volunteers are grant professionals, primarily from community colleges, but also from non-research colleges offering four-year degrees.
