At Elon University, international students mark their connection to campus in the International Grove.

To celebrate the completion of its first comprehensive campaign, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (U.S.) launched The Art of Gratitude. UTHealth Houston commissioned nine artists to create art that represented the theme of coming together in service of one goal.

A towering tree at the entrance to the NIST International School in Bangkok, Thailand, has welcomed students to the school since it opened in 1992. When the school had to relocate the tree in 2022, it initiated a campaign built around sustainability and community.

Good onboarding welcomes new colleagues into a team—like a welcome mat for the organization. That philosophy helps the University of California, Davis, U.S., start its newcomers in advancement off on the right foot. In 2021, the development and alumni relations division there launched The Learning DO–Development Officer Boot Camp. It’s a comprehensive, centralized, nine-week academy for fundraisers.

CASE has had eight presidents in 50 years. Each has added to the organization’s legacy in a unique way.

Armed with a photo booth, stickers, and more, the team at Taipei American School set out to revive annual giving in 2023. Fundraising at the pre-K–12 international school had been paused since the pandemic. Its 3 Weeks to 300 campaign aimed to raise 300 annual fund gifts, but ended up raising more than double that.

For the University of New South Wales, the approach of its 75th anniversary in 2025 presented an opportunity to celebrate some of its pioneering alumnae and leaders. The Australian university launched an initiative to rename certain buildings and spaces and create a Celebrating UNSW Women Trail.

Florida International University secured a $1.25 million gift from Café Bustelo and Café Pilon, two world-recognized coffee brands in The J.M. Smucker Co. portfolio through a multisensory proposal experience.
