Each fall, PCC faculty, staff and retirees step in to help students stay in school by providing funds for scholarships, campus food pantries, and emergency grants through its Save A Seat campaign.

The membership of the Council of Advancement and Support of Education has elected 10 individuals to fill open trustee positions on the CASE Board of Trustees. Additionally, four current members have moved into new officer roles.

Mike O'Neill, senior vice president for university advancement at Villanova University, discusses Villanova's most recent fundraising campaign and how the university boosted alumni participation and doubled the number of students who contributed to the senior class gift. 

No longer can the college or university president be simply a learned extension of the academic enterprise itself; today’s president has to be chief fundraiser, spokesperson, alumni cajoler, and enrollment advocate. Today’s president, before everything else, is an advancement officer.
 

CASE announced the 2019 recipients of its Distinguished Service Awards on June 10, 2019. The awards program honors individuals and organizations for extraordinary service in education and the field of educational advancement, which includes alumni relations, fundraising, communications, and marketing.
