The CASE Library has developed a resource collection on advancement in independent schools. The collection offers information on general trends, advancement, alumni and parent engagement, communications and marketing, and fundraising. This collection also includes a guide to all the CASE Library's sample collections that feature sections for independent schools samples. We encourage you to visit the Schools hub for additional resources and news from CASE.

The sample collection includes brochures, case statements, newsletters, links to planned giving websites and a small selection of planned giving initiatives that have won CASE Circle of Excellence Awards.

Scholars of philanthropy predict that in the coming decades, trillions of dollars of wealth will pass from older to younger generations. Although projections vary, a significant portion of this Great Wealth Transfer is expected to go to nonprofit organizations. This resource collection shares articles and reports on wealth transfer estimates and advice for fundraisers.

This collection aims to introduce the various types of planned gifts and offer resources on trends, best practices, policies and procedures. In addition to articles, white papers and research, we've listed books that provide a broader overview of planned giving programs.

The CASE Library created this collection to provide resources for U.S. institutions receiving Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) funding. Included are examples of reports, applications, and FAQ pages.

In 2020 the Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges teamed up with the Los Angeles Valley College Family Resource Center and Imperfect Foods to deliver close to 5,000 boxes of food to students in need through the Food for Families program. 

The CASE Library maintains this collection of online samples for all CASE members. It includes a variety of materials such as annual reports, policies about gifts, grants and contracts, strategic plans and more.
