Annika Linna
Annika Linna (MSSc) is a communications professional inspired by sustainable goals and co-creation. Annika has worked most of her career in communications business, both as a consultant and specialist in corporations. Prior to heading communications and marketing for Aalto University’s advancement and corporate engagement, she was responsible for the university’s science and research communications.
Josine Meerburg
Josine started working in higher education in 2011 as a fundraiser for Utrecht University. Before that she worked for companies, mainly in sales and relationship management. Since 2014, she has been working for the University of Twente as a project lead for an annual campaign. She is also responsible for the university’s crowdfunding website and alumni engagement in the major donor campaign. Josine holds a MSc in organizational psychology from the Utrecht University.
Sarita Heikkinen
Sarita has several years of experience in digital fundraising, donor acquisition, and marketing and communications. Before joining Aalto University, Sarita worked in a UK based international development charity where she built the organisation’s digital acquisition programme, developed and implemented social media strategy and trained colleagues around the world on digital best practice. At Aalto, she enjoys developing new approaches to individual giving and using digital fundraising tools to help solve some of the world’s toughest problems.
Mia Ingman
Mia has worked in higher ed and at Arcada UAS for 20 years. She started with mentoring programmes, then moved into developing career services. From 2009 she has been developing and managing alumni relations and external relations. Currently, she is also closely involved in fundraising as a member of Arcada’s steering group. She is all about engaging alumni and cultivating relations among alumni, personnel and students at the university. She has vast experience in managing engagement, be it in real life or online.
Mia holds a BBA from Arcada UAS within marketing and communications and is one of the first graduates from the programme at Arcada, her alma mater.
Jacob Jensen
Jacob has worked in the university world for more than 15 years at different universities in Denmark and has great experience and expertise in the fields of communication, alumni relations, stakeholder management and CRM solutions to support external relations. Jacob’s current main areas of responsibility are:
- DTU Alumni (building and maintaining valuable lifelong relationships, engaging alumni)
- Communication (newsletters, email campaigns, web, social media etc.)
- CRM (ensuring high quality data and system support to manage important stakeholder relations)

Mette Melvej Stærk
Mette has worked with experience economy throughout her entire professional life from professional sports and travel to corporate events and volunteering.
Since she started working at DTU in 2017, she has been responsible for the “academic highlights” and other events hosted by the Executive Board during the year, among others:
- DTU Commemoration
- Graduation Ceremonies for BSc, MSc and PhD graduates
- Professor Dinners
Adriana Moreno Gavaldon
Adriana has work within higher education for several years. Her experiences span from faculty administration, executive education and corporate programmes to her current responsibilities within external and international alumni relations at BIs Outreach department. Adriana holds a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana at Mexico City and a Master degree in International Law from the Washington College of Law, American University at Washington DC.
Peter Lindwall
Peter is a Partnership Manager at Chalmers managing five different partnerships and coordinating activities in the Area of Advance ICT. He has a background in fundraising and professional education at Chalmers as well as experience from management consulting and business development in industry.
Outi Toijala
Outi Toijala has 20 years of experience in international business development and strategic partnerships. She has created local and global B2B partnerships with world’s largest enterprises, SMEs as well as the most innovative technology startups. She has versatile experience of collaborating with different industries ranging from telecoms to health and manufacturing. Previously she has worked with Nokia, EIT Digital and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She joined Aalto University as the Head of Corporate Relations in fall 2020. At Aalto she enjoys developing systematic approach to partnerships and partnering with industry to solve major global challenges.
Per-Erik Johannessen
Per Erik Johannessen is Special Adviser Innovation and Outreach at BI Norwegian Business School. In his role, Johannessen is working in the intersection between companies, organizations, students and faculty members to identify and develop partnerships. Johannessen has extensive experience from BI as Director of Public Affairs, Head of Continuing and further education, Director of Corporate Programs – nationally and internationally and as Director of Open Enrolment Programs. He is a member of CASE Northern Europe Cabinet.
