This category is for exemplary programming, projects, and initiatives in advancement services that can serve as models for other institutions. Entries should provide a successful solution to a challenge, reflect strategic use of resources, achieve significant results, and/or utilize innovative practices. Entries can be in any area of advancement services, including but not limited to information systems, gift reporting and acknowledgements, and prospect research.

Process improvement in gift acknowledgements
Database upgrades/conversions
Data privacy
Portfolio assignments
Do not enter:
Talent management projects. Enter those under Advancement Services: Talent Management Initiatives.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Creativity and innovation
Use of resources (budget, staff, and time) and return on investment
Strategy and methodology
Impact and results
Judges also may consider:
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity;
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
