Know Before You Go
Before joining us in Vancouver, take these few steps to be prepared for a great conference:
✔ Get approved for attendance by uploading your vaccination record to CrowdPass at your earliest convenience but no later than March 25 at 1 PM Eastern. USE THIS LINK and once there, you’ll create a login and upload a photo of your vaccination record. Please be sure that your name and email match the name and email used to register for the conference. CASE will receive a report furnished by Crowdpass that will tell us you’ve been approved and your check-in to the conference will be seamless.
✔ Make sure to bring hand sanitizer and extra masks. We hope you’ll connect with lots of fellow attendees, but you’ll need to do so while wearing a mask as we continue to follow CDC guidance for large gatherings. Bring an extra in case it gets hot and bring hand sanitizer for navigating through the venue.
✔ Download and use ArriveCAN to enter Canada if coming from the U.S. You must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information before and after your entry into Canada. Visit the Canada website and follow the steps listed.
✔ Schedule your Covid tests. If coming from outside Canada, you must show proof of a test before you enter the country, as well as to return to the U.S. We recommend setting up your covid tests well before the conference so you don't experience delays. Convenient testing sites to the conference location are listed on the CASE website, and here you can find a checklist of what you will need at the border.
✔ Serve as a mentor. CASE District VIII is delighted to offer new professionals opportunities to network and connect with seasoned professionals during the conference. This is a wonderful opportunity for both mentee and mentor to make most of your conference experience! If you are interested in becoming either a mentor or a mentee, please fill out the District VIII Mentor Program Form. Once filled out, you will be assigned a partner and introductions will be made via email in advance of the conference.
✔ Get excited and volunteer! One of the most enriching experiences and the first step in being involved with your district and CASE is to volunteer at the conference. There are plenty of opportunities that will still allow you to attend the sessions you are interested in. You can find a list of onsite opportunities and sign up here. We can’t wait to see you in Vancouver!
