Newcomers Track
Welcome from the track chairs
Simon Fairbanks | Head of Student Recruitment Events, University of Nottingham
Catherine Thomson | Head of Marketing, Robert Gordon University
Are you new to the education sector? Never been to a CASE conference before?
The Newcomers Track is an opportunity for you to enjoy a bonus programme of learning, networking, and socialising before the main conference begins.
We welcome all newcomers who have joined the educator sector in the past two years, regardless of whether you are a fresh-faced graduate, or an experienced manager entering the sector in a senior role.
We welcome colleagues working in a variety of roles across advancement in education. Your day job might be fundraising, communications, alumni relations, marketing, or leadership. Either way, our sessions have been handpicked with everyone’s personal and professional development in mind.
Our 24-hour programme is brimming with valuable content to help you feel connected, informed, and super-charged for the rest of the CASE Europe Annual Conference 2022.
Discover the magic of soulful storytelling. Experience the power of empathy-mapping. Gather advice on how to work with academic staff. Learn how schools, colleges, and universities draw upon the strengths of their local regions. Exchange lessons on how to shape (and reshape) your career in the education sector. Build your network through speed-networking. Explore the wonders of our host city. Get to know your fellow newcomers over an evening meal in the heart of Glasgow.
We can’t wait to get started. See you there!
Please be reminded to join the Newcomers Track, you would need to be registered at an added fee via the registration link.
