Enhanced Cash – How to Position Cash Post Fed-Pivot
After more than a decade of nearly imperceptible returns on cash, the Federal Reserve Policy of increased rates created opportunities for risk-free assets, like 3-month T-bills, to generate some serious… well… cash. Greater than 5% returns were common in cash portfolios that were quick to adjust their strategies. Now that the Federal Reserve has pivoted away from its rate-hiking stance to one of probable declines in 2024, investors are left questioning how to re-position their cash.
