Welcome and SAA 101: Back to Basics

The mission, goals and programming of one student alumni association can be similar or completely different from that of another. A successful membership model for a student alumni association at a large institution may not be feasible for one at a smaller institution. During this opening session, you’ll work to define your student advancement group and meet and network with advisers from similar organizations to begin sharing best practices.

For your student advancement organization to be successful, you need to develop strong student leaders who champion your group’s mission and goals.
